The following notes and statements were made during personal interviews with clients of Dufour-Corso Studios.
The interviews were conducted by a marketing research firm.
Lisa N. - Raymond Post Architects
Project Architect for Christ the King Church
How or why did you go about choosing Sam for your project?
"Sam was willing to incorporate his style into the design and not just simply create the style he thought would work.
He was definitely a team player on the project to the point that he incorporated remaining stained glass from the
original building into the new design to save on material for the project. He helped us get the job done within the specified budget."
What are Sam’s greatest assets in working with him?
"He’s a team player. He did whatever it took to get the job done. And he worked together well with me.
He’s a good designer and he did what he said he would do."
Any other thoughts on Sam you’d like to add?
"He’s an excellent artist, very professional, and really cares about his work."
Reverend Tom Naughton
Director of Manresa for Sacred Heart and St. Joseph Chapels
How or why did you go about choosing Sam and Paul for these particular projects?
Reverend Naughton interviewed several people who worked in stained glass and then narrowed it down to 3 or 4 artists.
"It was obvious to me that they were comfortable in working in different orientations.
The convincing factor was their honesty." They advised him, whether or not they themselves got the job, not to
use a certain type of glass because it would take away from the design of the Church.
This really impressed the Reverend, who thought that they were putting themselves at risk for getting the
job without knowing what his thoughts were on the subject. "I appreciated their honesty."
What were their greatest assets in working with them?
"I was very, very pleased with their work. They were thorough, having done their research, and very creative.
They also responded very quickly, not having given them any timeframe, they began very soon after being selected for the work."
